On June 21, as part of the Cheboksary Economic Forum, Lime HD conducted the Media Forum “Chuvashia - 2024”.
More than 200 participants, over 20 professional speakers, representatives of relevant federal executive authorities, as well as dozens of the largest media holdings in the Volga region gathered on one platform to discuss current issues in the media industry and conclude a number of partnership agreements.
In particular, the forum presented current research results on regional media consumption by the Ministry of Digital Development, Information Policy and Mass Communications of the Chuvash Republic, the specifics and prospects of producing regional media content, the implementation of artificial intelligence in the work of regional media companies, and several other important issues.
"According to research by the Ministry of Digital Development of the Chuvash Republic, television in Chuvashia still leads as a source of news. This is very encouraging. Since the indigenous population prevails in the national republic, national broadcasting helps to convey news and regional agendas for whom the Chuvash language is native. Additionally, it fulfills a social mission of preserving the language, culture, and everything that unites people," said the General Director of the National Association of Broadcasters.
