Lime HD Develops Partnerships and International Distribution The vertical series market — including short dramas and microdramas — is rapidly expanding worldwide.
Over the past year, Lime HD has built a full operational cycle in the vertical content sector: from a strategic partnership with one of the leading technology players in the microdrama industry to licensing its own catalogue on major international platforms.
The first stage in developing this area was a partnership with the Chinese platform R-Joy / RisingJoy, one of the notable players in the global microdrama market.
An official partnership between the parties was established on December 5, followed by the signing of a distribution agreement on December 12.
As part of the launch of the joint collaboration, an R-Joy delegation, including Cassandra Yang and Wenwen Han, visited Moscow.
The next stage was the international distribution of content produced by Lime HD and Production Film Company.
On July 17, the first 22 series from the company's catalogue were licensed and launched on the international platform FlareFlow, part of COL Group.
On July 19, the first releases were launched on ShortMax, one of the international platforms developing the short drama segment.
Thus, in a relatively short period of time, the team progressed from establishing strategic partnerships to bringing its own content to international platforms.
First Results of International Expansion
Already at this stage, Lime HD projects are demonstrating significant international reach.
In total, the content has generated:
→ more than 2.7 million impressions across international platforms; → more than 1 million unique users; → 61,915 episode views; → 13,370 unique viewers.
These figures reflect not only audience interest in the vertical series format, but also the international distribution potential of content produced and prepared by a Russian team.
A Full-Cycle Approach to Vertical Content
The development of the vertical series segment is part of Lime HD's broader strategy as an international media technology company.
The company brings together microdrama production, digital distribution, streaming solutions, advertising technologies, and international content localization tools.
In this environment, content quality is only one of the key factors. Equally important is the ability to rapidly bring projects to international platforms, adapt them for different audiences, and scale distribution.
Lime HD's expertise and approach enable the company to work with content across all key stages — from project creation and packaging to promotion, licensing, and release on international platforms.
This demonstrates that Russian teams can be full-fledged participants in this process — not only as content producers, but also as partners for international technology and media platforms.
